Indian cricket team vice-captain KL Rahul has called for an end to the mass killing of stray dogs in Kerala. Rahul shared the poster of ‘Voice of Stray Dogs’, which works for the care of stray dogs, on his Instagram story. Rahul’s response is that stray dogs are being killed en masse in Kerala.
The poster says that the slaughter of stray dogs in Kerala has started again. Along with the poster, Rahul wrote, “Please, stop.”
Meanwhile, an order has been issued for an action plan to prevent rabies in the state. Complete vaccination will be implemented in hotspots. It has also been suggested to provide shelter for all dogs in hotspots. The action plan also states that strict action will be taken if waste is dumped on public roads. There is a situation where many places are turning into hotspots due to street waste. Therefore, steps have been initiated to remove the street waste urgently.
